General Terms & Conditions

Tour Price Includes

  • AIR TRANSPORTATION: Round trip air transportation is included from hometown on regularly scheduled and/or charter airlines, plus all other flights shown on itinerary. All prices are based on the lowest, applicable airfares and are subject to any increases until paid in full.
  • SURFACE TRANSPORTATION: Land transportation is provided by private motorcoach, minibus or van depending on the size of the group.
  • HOTELS AND MEALS: Accommodations will be provided in three and/or four star hotels. Program price is based on double and triple accommodations; supplements apply. Meals included as indicated on the itinerary.
  • TRANSFERS AND SIGHTSEEING: All necessary transfers between airports and hotels are included throughout the tour while on location. Sightseeing, as outlined on the itineraries, is provided by private motorcoach, or minibus, along with the services of an English-speaking guide. Entrance fees to all places visited are also included.
  • TIPS AND TAXES: All taxes for ground services are included. All necessary gratuities are included. Tips to the local guides and bus drivers are not included in the tour prices and are left up to the discretion of the participant.
  • BAGGAGE: Limited to one large suitcase and one carry-on. Carry-on must fit beneath the airplane seat or in the overhead compartment.
  • INSURANCE: The purchase of optional travel insurance is always recommended. Information is available from our office.

Payment Schedule

  1. $500.00 deposit at time of application.
  2. One half of the remaining balance is due 90 days before departure.
  3. Final payment is due 60 days before departure.
    Checks returned for any reason are subject to a $25 service fee. Make checks payable to A&B Travel Designs. Prices reflect a 3% discount for cash/check payments. Discounts do not apply to credit card payments.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Up to 90 days before trip: All monies minus a $200.00 cancellation fee.
  2. Between 60 and 90 days before trip: A cancellation fee of $350.00 applies.
  3. Inside 60 days a cancellation fee of $450.00 applies.
  4. In the event an official travel warning is issued by the U.S. State Department indicating Americans should not travel to the particular country you will be visiting, a refund less a $50 administrative fee shall be issued.
  5. Additional cancallation penalties apply to the above as incurred by all suppliers involved (e.g. non-refundable fares, hotel fees, etc.). All refund requests must be in writing and postmarked before deadlines.

Tour Price Does Not Include
Expenses within the U.S. including those caused by airline scheduling or delays (such as a misconnect), additional airline charges if fare increases or changes for whatever reason, beverages with the meals, room service, telephone calls, excess baggage charges, items of personal nature, any expenses incurred by the Tour Conductor on behalf of the participant for medical or other reasons, cost of documentation and expenses incurred when participant changes from group’s set itinerary. Passport and visa fees.

All prices are subject to change until group deposits are received and all reservations have been confirmed.

RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE
A&B Travel Designs, Inc., and/ or its agents, act only as agents for the passenger in regard to travel, whether by plane, rail, bus or any other means of conveyance and assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or any reason whatever, or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. They can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, or other causes. Any such expenses will have to be borne by the passsenger as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the time stated. The right is reserved to substitute hotels of similar category for those indicated and to make any changes in the itinerary where deemed necessary or caused by changes in air schedules. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure, in which case, full refund will constitute full settlement to the passenger. No refund will be made for unused portions of the tour. The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of the tour. Baggage is at owner’s risk entirely. The issuance of vouchers or tickets will be deemed to be consent to above conditions. All arrangements for land accommodations, transportation, sightseeeing. and other included landfeatures are made by A&B Travel Designs, Inc. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft. The passenger ticket in use by said airlines, when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tickets and/or the passenger. The services of any member carrier of the Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) or International Air Trasnport Association (IATA) may be used in conjunction with this tour.
